2017 Club IMUA Summer Volleyball Camp

Club IMUA Volleyball is please to announce their 2017 Summer Volleyball Camp. This year’s camp will run from Tuesday May 30th – Thursday June 22nd and is open to all athletes between 6th – 12th grade during the 2017/2018 school year.

Dates: Tuesday/Thursday May 30th – June 22nd
Time: 9:00 am – 10:00 am (6th/7th graders); 10:00 am – 11:00 am (8th – 12th graders)
Location: Rigby Middle School
Cost: $10 per session
Camp Schedule:
Week of May 30th – Passing (correct form, angle passing, simple movements, footwork) Serving (correct form, toss, arm swing)
Week of June 5th – Setting (footwork, technique, front and back sets, etc)
Week of June 12th – Hitting (footwork, transitioning, arm swing)
Week of June 19th – Drills to put it all together

College Volleyball Recruiting Seminar

Club IMUA Volleyball is please to announce an outstanding opportunity to learn more about what it takes to become a collegiate volleyball player including discussion about:

  • How to get noticed by a college recruiter
  • Different types of scholarships
  • Differences in colleges
  • How to choose which school is right for you
  • Recruiting laws
  • How to put together a player profile/highlight video
  • And much more!

Join us on Friday April 28th from 7 to 9 pm at the Rigby High School Commons Area, as Treva Mcune (Director/Coach/Recruiting Expert) providers her insight and understanding of what is required to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Treva’s bio

Who should attend: Any athlete or parent wishing to gain knowledge about what colleges are looking for in an athlete and how to be recruited.
Cost to attend: $5.00 per person, Max $10.00 per family (plus $0.50 online processing fee per person).

Club IMUA Skills Camp

Club IMUA is pleased to announce the 1st annual BOYS and GIRLS skills camp for players in grades 1st – 6th. Download a copy of the flyer here.

Registration is open February 21st – April_5th by selecting the Camp Registration button above.

Cost*
1st – 3rd Grade $35
4th – 6th Grade $45

*Registration fee includes a Club IMUA Volleyball T Shirt. There is a $5.00 discount per player for 2nd and 3rd registrants per family.  Please note there will be a $2.00 charge per registrant to cover the fees associated with processing credit card and Pay Pal charges online.

Please note when registering your child if you heard about the camp from one of the U13 or U14 Club Members, please select their name from the drop down list. For each attendee referred by a U13 or U14 Club Member, they will receive a portion of the registration fees towards their club dues.

Tryouts
Rigby Middle School

6th/7th Grade
November 14th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm (Mandatory parent meeting for all 6th and 7th grade parents 4:00 – 4:30 pm in the cafeteria)

7th/8th Grade
November 15th from 7:45 – 9:00 pm (Mandatory Parent Meeting for 8th grade parents only 7:15 – 7:45 pm  in the cafeteria)

Team Information
12’s team

  • Cost: $150
  • This team will play in (5) local tournaments
  • 10 player team

13’s team

  • Cost: $295
  • This team will play in (2) Utah tournaments,  (1) Power, (1) Local Grand Prix, and (1) local tournament
  • 9 player team

14’s team

  • Cost: $350
  • This team will play in (3) Utah tournaments, with two of them being 2-day tournaments. (1) Power, and (1) Local Grand Prix tournament.
  • 9 player team
